After traveling around the world to 38 countries and over 200 cities, it’s not an easy task to pick my favorite travel destinations. There are so many beautiful countries that I’ve visited and I recommend traveling as much as you can and as far as you can! Here are my top 6 awesome destinations to travel recommendations for 2017.

Bali, Indonesia
The stunning island of Gods isn’t my favorite destination for no reason. Bali has so much to offer from beaches, to rice fields, to volcanoes, to monkeys, to stylish bars and restaurants. What makes it even more magical is the local culture. The Balinese are some of the warmest and most kind hearted people in the world. Everyone will greet you with the biggest smile and make you feel so welcomed.
Bali also comes with a very affordable price tag: Staying in a luxury villa with a private pool can cost less than $100 a night, a massage costs $15 per hour and amazing restaurants cost less than $15 per person.
2. Ibiza, Spain
Ibiza can sometimes be a misunderstood island, because the first thing that comes to anyone’s mind is that it’s the ultimate party destination. Yes, Ibiza has some of the craziest parties and the most famous DJs playing in top clubs every hour of the day, but it also has so much more to offer. The island is full of very trendy beach clubs, delicious restaurants, cute little markets and boutiques and of course an amazing energy. Did I forget to mention that you can watch some of the best sunsets in the world for one of the many beach bars? For a quieter getaway, you can also hop on a short ferry ride to the neighboring island of Formentera.
3. Maldives
If you want to feel like you’re living in a postcard, then the Maldives is the perfect destination for you! The beauty of these islands is so stunning, that you would have to pinch yourself to make sure you’re not dreaming. The Maldives is famous for crystal clear turquoise beaches lined with white sand and some of the best underwater wildlife encounters in the world. Top that off with a stay in an over-water villa and you will have a trip of a lifetime.
4. Cameron Highlands, Malaysia
After traveling through different cities in Malaysia, my ultimate favorite was the Cameron Highlands. This beautiful area is Malaysia’s largest hill station area at 1,500 meters above sea level and is famous for some of the most stunning tea plantation hills you can come across. There are endless hills as far as your eyes can see all covered in so many shades of green. If you roll down your window while driving through the area, you can actually smell the tea! Cameron Highlands is also well known for having lots of strawberry farms. My whole time was spent admiring the views and of course enjoying the most delicious strawberries and cream.
5. Zanzibar, Tanzania
Uninterrupted views of white sands beaches don’t only exist in the Maldives! Zanzibar is truly paradise and has some the most gorgeous beaches in the world. There are some areas where you can swim in the clearest waters and have a whole beach all to yourself without seeing another person for miles and miles away. Zanzibar is not just a picture-perfect beach destination and also offers a rich history, welcoming locals and amazing wildlife.
6. Transylvania, Romania
Transylvania is not a make-believe city that we hear about it fairy tales. It is in fact very real and located in central Romania and is well worth a visit. Transylvania is a magical place with so much history, beauty and many legends including our favorite childhood vampire Dracula. As you start approaching this medieval region, you will come across outstanding landscapes with an endless view of mountains and greenery. I really felt like I went back in time a few hundred years, especially after coming across the cutest farms, sheep and even horse and carriages. My favorite highlight was visiting the beautiful castles, especially Peles Castle and Bran castle, better known as Dracula’s Castle.
