If you are looking for a budget-friendly way to decorate your home for the holidays, you’ve come to the right place! Follow us as we show you step-by-step how to make snowflake wall art using Popsicle sticks.
What you’ll need:
- Popsicle sticks
- Glue gun
- Glue sticks
- Ribbon
- Spray paint
Step 1
Design your snowflake. Every snowflake is unique so get creative with it. I took my Popsicle sticks and started with a star shape and went from there to create my snowflake.
Step 2
Glue Popsicle sticks together. Make sure to remove the excess, stringy glue before moving on to the next step.
Step 3
Take snowflake outside to spray paint. I used Krylon Glitter Blast because I wanted my snowflake to be extra sparkly. You can find this at Walmart for about $6.
Step 4
Let snowflake dry. It takes about 20 minutes, but make sure it is completely dry before moving on to the next step.
Step 5
Tie a ribbon to the top of your snowflake so you can hang it. The ribbon can be as long or short as you’d like.
Step 6
Hang it. Use a decorative thumbtack or hook to hang your snowflake on the wall.
